The granadenc Marc Roca debuted yesterday afternoon with the first team of the Spanish language, in the pre-season friendly that the white-and-blue tied to the field of Utrecht the Netherlands (1-1).
Roca, a midfielder of 19 years, was one of the three changes that coach Quique Sanchez Florez introduced at halftime, when his team lost to the minimum. With the young granadenc in the field, the Spaniard tied thanks to a goal from the Andalusian José Antonio Reyes.
To continue with this progression, Rock could become this season in the second granadenc in top flight debut and, like the previous one, do it in the ranks of the Spanish language. In fact, the Granada could become, as well, in the municipality of the Penedès with more players from the first division of the story, since never before any other there had more than one player.
The only precedent dates from 21 February 1943, When Francis Suriol competed a full meeting of blue-and-white in the League against Granada with the triumph of the Spanish (2-1). This was the only match in the first Division a Suriol who, years ago, had also played two friendly matches in the ranks of FC Barcelona's first team.
