The City Council of Granada approved a motion to reclaim security and justice

The City Council of Granada approved last night unanimously the motion to The Granada says enough! ', in an extraordinary plenary session full to overflowing.

The purpose of the motion is to require security and justice and an end to the wave of crime in the town brought about by a conflict family: in the last few months have occupied several houses illegally; they have no respect for the most basic rules of coexistence; do not respect traffic rules by going at speeds that endanger pedestrians and other drivers; in recent days there have been made even more serious than stated in the intervention of the Mossos d'esquadra as fights or theft with persecutions.

The four groups of the Council consider that "by now it needs something more to prevent headaches and we demand justice and security who has the powers to give them and restore the balance that as citizens we deserve".

The motion consists of four points:

  1. Apply to the Department of the Interior of the Government of Catalonia, the fate of more police to give coverage to the public safety and traffic in the municipality of Granada.
  2. Request the General direction of attention to the childhood and Adolescence of the Department of labour, Social Affairs and family of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the protection of the most vulnerable children by ensuring their personal development.
  3. Request the General direction of civil and Community Action of the Department of Social Affairs and family of the Generalitat de Catalunya, an urgent intervention of the Manager of the program of the Gypsy people and social innovation '.
  4. Moved this motion in the Department of the Interior, the Department of Social Affairs and family of the Generalitat de Catalunya, in the Alt Penedès District Council and to all the municipalities of the region.
