The City Council of Granada approved so the initial plan of urban municipal (POUM) in an extraordinary plenary session held this Wednesday afternoon.
The Government team of the agreement received the support of ERC to move forward with the document, while the CiU and the PSC was voting against.
It is the third time that the POUM exceeds the initial approval. From now on, there will be a period of 60 days to submit any claims to the document. The Mayor Diego Díez explained that "in addition to giving more days of that regulation is to present allegations, we will create a desktop, with the presence of all parties, in order to analyse one by one the allegations presented and thus be able to reach the maximum possible consensus before moving the document in its final approval".
Last January, the POUM had already overcome a first ballot. In this case, a popular consultation to capture the view of the town and it was the first of the history made in Granada.
