The Granada is one of the municipalities without public debt

According to data of the Ministry of finance and public administration, crossed with the municipal of Idescat 2015, the Granada is one of the municipalities of Catalonia with no public debt.

There are more than a hundred municipalities in Catalonia which does not register any debt and there are four demarcations. Most of them are small villages such as Sant Agustí de Lluçanès, Sant Sadurní d'osormort, Fulleda, Santa Maria de Merlès, Torroja del Priorat, Rupit i Pruit, or Gisclareny, among others. But there are also medium-sized towns that kept their public accounts without any debt, as Gurb, Fornells de la Selva, Sant Martí Sarroca, la Granada, Constantine, the Heather or Avignon, among others.
